Three days of teamwork, creativity & positive play.
The Gaming Summer Camp is a three-day, in-person experience designed specifically for middle school students interested in gaming and esports. Campers will explore teamwork, sportsmanship, digital wellness, creativity, and safe online habits while participating in fun and age appropriate gaming activities.
Registration is open for middle school students, grades 6 - 8.
The deadline to register is Wed., July 8 or until the camp is filled. Max. 30 campers.

The camp is $225 via debit or credit, and runs from Wed., July 15 through Friday, July 17, 2026.
What to Bring
- Lunch and a drink. We do not provide refrigeration or a microwave for lunches so they should be packed accordingly. Lunch containers should be clearly labeled with your camper’s name.
- Optional: Backpack for belongings clearly labeled with camper's name.
- Optional: small notebook for notes.
All gaming equipment will be provided.
Parents should drop off their camper between 8:30 and 9 a.m. at the address below. Pick up will be between 4:30 and 5 p.m.
A staff member will be at drop off to direct campers. The Garnet Gaming Lounge is up the stairs, or via the elevator to the left in suite 101.
Every camper will need to be signed-in and signed-out everyday. To assure the safety of your camper(s) we will require a driver’s license for pick up. Only people listed on the Authorized Pick Up List will be allowed pick up campers. The Authorized Pick Up List can be modified, in person, at any time. Simply let us know and we will be happy to adjust it.

Wednesday Morning Drop Off
On Wednesday at Drop Off, we will confirm the Authorized Pick Up List, payment, and contact information. This process can take up to 20 minutes. A staff person will be available to answer any questions you may have.

Parents are invited to attend the Friday, 4 p.m. Showcase & Awards Ceremony, which includes:
- Friendly tournament competitions
- Team logo gallery
- Recognition of positive players
- Camp highlights and photo opportunities
The staff is made up entirely of FSU employees and student workers carefully screened and selected by the FSU Garnet Gaming Lounge. All members of the camp staff have passed a Federal background check.
- Be respectful. No bullying, harassment, or trash talk.
- Follow staff instructions and stay with the group at all times.
- Play only approved games and use equipment responsibly.
- Practice good sportsmanship. Win or lose with respect.
- Keep personal information private; no streaming or posting.
- No weapons, vaping, drugs, or inappropriate content.
- Unsafe or disruptive behavior may result in removal from camp.
If your child is ill, please keep your camper at home. We ask you to share our concern for the heath of all the campers. We require prompt pick up in the event your child becomes ill during the program.
Campers are responsible for their belongings. The staff will do their best to ensure that campers keep up with their gear. Please check with a staff member at pickup if your camper has lost something.
Any found items at the end of camp will be sent to the FSU Campus Event Services for processing.
Full refunds will be given only for medical reasons documented by a physician.
